Inspired by Van Gogh’s work ‘Cafe Terrace at Night’, this kit conjures up dark midnight skies, and the warm glow of lamplight from cafes, reflecting on cobbled streets.
This design follows the old rule of thumb, ‘twice around the wrist, once around the neck’, so that once knitted to your measurements, it can be worn as a bracelet or a choker. It’s a straight piece of knitting on 4sts with regular knitting needles, so is perfect as a starter project for those wanting to experience knitting with wire.
The Van Gogh inspired kit comes supplied in a gorgeous silver gift bag and contains:
* 60 x genuine Swarovski® crystal beads in a painter’s palette mix of dark indigo, navy, smoky-quartz, burnt-orange and topaz.
* 0.25mm dark blue-enamelled copper jewellery wire

All you will need to have yourself is 2.25mm knitting needles and a sewing needle.
The pattern uses garter stitch throughout, and is suitable for an intermediate knitter.
