Description
Hat and Scarf Pattern
Designed by Kristin Bryna
The pattern of the hat and the scarf refers to the columnar basalt in different heights and proportions. Columnar basalt was one of the rock formations my grandfather taught me about as we travelled the country, explaining how the columns formed as the lava cooled.
The hat is worked in the round and the scarf is worked flat.
