Frosty Sweater Pattern by Helga Isager

This pattern was originally first published in Helga’s book STITCHES.   Designed in danish wool in 1ply and a strand of silk mohair and wool it is knitted up in a beautifully soft and warm fabric.   The sweater has a lovely raised motif and the neckline has an edging in Alpaca 1.

The sweater is pictured in Spinni no 58 and Silk Mohair no 62.  The neckline and rib at the waist uses Alpaca 1.

Half chest width: 49, 52.5, 56 and 59.5 cm
Body length from armhole: 32, 34, 34 and 36 cm

Tension & Notes The Sweater is worked in rounds from the bottom up.  The front, back and sleeves are all worked separately in reverse stocking stitch with a rhombus pattern.  The pattern is worked from a chart.  The sweater has set in sleeves and a V-neck and the V-neck rib edge is finished with tubular cast off.

PLEASE NOTE that several things are done at the same time in this pattern.

You will need circular needles in sizes 3.5mm and 4mm.
