einrum Balaclava Pattern

Anne Grete Duvald has designed the pattern for this balaclava. My grandmother had a balaclava which she had made in the seventies. You could fold the bottom of it to make it look like an ordinary hat, or you could pull it over your face and look through the opening. I always thought this was a brilliant hat. Anne Grete has worked with the duality of the concept and came up with this modern looking, warm hat which beautifully frames the face when worn as a balaclava.

The pattern is made for E-yarn qualities.
The hat in the pictures is knitted in the colours E 1010 Ólivín and E 1003 Ágít.
