HAZY JACKET & RAINY HAT BY HELGA ISAGER

The Jacket is worked back and forth in one peice to the armholes. Here it is divided into fronts and back, and each piece is worked separately. Hazy is designed to sit elegantly at the waist.  It is, however, easy to make it longer if needed.  For a longer jacket add one extra one row of squares after the rib edge, i.e. before working side increases and V-neck sloped neckline. 

The Jacket and Hat includes a lovely embroidery section which makes it a very unique cross over pattern

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Jacket is worked using a bottom up method and sleeves are added and knitted top down.  The fabric that the Isager Bomulin and Isager Silk Mohair is ideal for this jacket design.  The jacket pattern includes lovely embroidery using Isager Bomulin and Isager Spinni in different colours. 

GAUGE

Knitting 24 stitches with one strand of each of the Bomulin and Silk Mohair on size 3.5mm needle will give you a 10 cm square.

TOOLS ETC

You will need a 3 & 3.5mm needle, row counter and stitch markers.  You may find stitch holder cords, stitch markers and tapestry needles.  You will need three buttons.
