Isager Jenson
Jensen is one of our favourite yarns. Spun in Denmark at the Henrichsen’s Wool Mill, Jensen is a blend of ethically sourced New Zealand sheep fleece and Gotland Sheep Fleece. The white and brown tones of the 3 plied yarns give the yarn its rustic and marled appearance.
Isager Jensen Yarn, one of Isager’s first yarns, was named ÅLJ after knitwear designer Åse Lund Jensen.
The yarn is ideal for a variety projects, but in particular projects which needs a yarn that highlights stitch pattern definition, such as moss stitch or cabling. Jensen is great for colour work as well.
The EF team have used Jenson for sweaters such as Max the Knitters, Hide and Peak Sweater, the Ingrid Slip over by Petite Knits or the colour work Sweater Sirius by Camilla Vad
It really is a dream to knit with.
