Isager Pattern - Short Sleeved Top by Sai Chika

This Short Sleeved top is worked top-down, working back and forth in stocking stitch from the collar and then in rounds with twisted raglan stitches.

 Increases are made along these raglan stitches until reaching underarm. Then the body and sleeves are worked separately in stocking stitch.

The last several rows of the bottom front and back body are worked separately to make a split hem. Borders for both front and back bottom edges and sleeves are worked sideways while decreasing body stitches at the same time.

The collar of this top is lovely.  

Sai Chika designed this top using a strand of Isager Organic Hør combined with a strand of Isager Silk Mohair.  

Pictured is Isager Organic Hør in Ink with Isager Silk Mohair in number 60.  These colours make a gorgeous, almost aubergine colour.  

Materials for this project are 

• 175, 200, 250g Isager Organic Hør 
• 75, 100, 100g Isager Silk Mohair

You will need a 4mm Circular Needle for the body and a 3.5mm needle for border and collar.
