Beautiful blanket designed by Marianne Isager.  Great as a stash buster.  

For a project like this it is obvious to use remnants. Even small remnants can be used, as it gives the plaid a nice look to play with tone on tone shades within each square. On the other hand it creates harmony and coherence to repeat one colour in some of the squares, on the edges and when knitting together. Combine Isager remnants in Tvinni, Highland and Alpaca 2 with a couple of 50 g skeins and approx. 110 g for edges and knitting together. Work with 2 threads held together throughout.
