CONSTRUCTION NOTES
The design is worked from the bottom up in a simple, charted rhombus pattern, where the rhombuses are alternately worked in stockinette stitch and reverse stockinette stitch. The vest is worked stripes by alternating in 1 round/row each of color A, B and C. At the armholes, the body is divided for front and back and each section is worked back and forth and finished separately. The vest has a V-neck and short rows are worked on the shoulders to create a good fit.
The edges are worked in rib (k1, p1), and stitches are cast-on using the Italian cast-on and bound off using the Italian bind-off technique.
