Set in the stunning county of Cornwall, known not just for its coastal landscapes, but for its green rolling hills as well.

They have created a yarn that the Wendsleydale sheep themselves are proud to wear, untouched by chemical dyes for a more natural yarn, celebrating all natural British rare breed wool. 

Soft as Sea Mist DK is a 100% British Dorset Fleece

The Raw Wool Company wanted to expamnd their range of undyed natural colours from Black through to white, and this is where Steve's pure Dorsets come in.  Steve has farmed sheep for the past 10 years and cares for them just as much as TWC do their own sheepies.  Each British breed fibre boasts is own unique characte which lends itself for different uses.  Dorset like Wensleydale, is kemp free.  It has both a voluminous and soft texture that is great for agains the skin garments, perfect for those winter jumpers !
